Thank you for all this wonderful work to support reading at Park Street
Story
📚💛 This year, as part of the Year of Reading and in celebration of World Book Day, we are launching an exciting new initiative: The Park Street Story Project.
Our goal is to raise £20,000 to completely refit our four school libraries and refresh our book collections with inspiring, diverse and engaging new reading material.
Over time, many of our classroom libraries have become tired and outdated. We want to transform them into vibrant, welcoming spaces that spark curiosity, imagination and a genuine love of books. This project will allow us to:
Redesign and refit four school library spaces
Replace worn and outdated books
Introduce exciting new titles across a wide range of genres
Create reading environments that children feel proud of and excited to use
Reading opens doors. It builds confidence, fuels creativity and shapes futures. We want every child at Park Street to feel inspired to pick up a book — not because they have to, but because they want to.
This is about more than shelves and stories. It’s about building a culture of reading that will benefit our children for years to come.
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to our £20,000 target. If you’re unable to donate, please help us by sharing this campaign with friends, family and the wider community.
Together, we can turn the page and create something truly special for our children.
Every penny helps. Please spread the word. 📚💛
